American Osteopathic Association Description: Website is a comprehensive resource for the public and professionals. They publish an “AOA Fact Sheet” every couple of years that includes stats on physicians, students and training programs. (Site is very helpful if you need to educate yourself about D.O.s.) Federation of Chiropractic Licensing Boards Description: Organization of state licensing boards for Chiropratic medicine. Site includes organizational information, directory of members, information for students, professional news and announcements for Chropractic physicians. Federation of State Medical Boards Description: Maintains relationships with a variety of professional, licensing, and certifying organizations, including the AMA, the Association of American Medical Colleges, the American Osteopathic Association, other national medical groups, national organizations of licensing and certifying agencies in health-related fields and medical licensing authorities in several foreign countries. The Federation is a parent organization of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education and the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates, and member organization of the National Board of Medical Examiners.
