Critical Incident Reporting System Description: CIRS© is an anonymous and international forum on critical incidents in anesthesiology. This is a reporting system of the Swiss Anesthesia Server, run by the Department of Anesthesia, University of Basel, Switzerland. Its mission is to create an international forum where critical incidents in daily anesthetic practice are collected and distributed. This program not only allows the submission of critical incidents but also serves as a teaching instrument.
