Our poll of website subscribers earlier this year indicated that while a large majority wanted an EMTALA update this year, few organizations were able to send folks to live presentations, but 80% indicated that they would be interested in attending a webinar series. Now that I am back to full capabilities following an April surgery, we are beginning planning on a multi-session webinar series of 7 or 8 2-hour classes on EMTALA issues to approximate the coverage we could provide in a 2-day live seminar. We are also exploring a system to make replays available so that registrants can work all of the sessions into their busy schedules.
