Program Format

In order to cover all of the broad range of policies and procedures on the EMTLA Bootcamp agenda, Mr. Frew will utilize topic presentations, workbook samples, question and answer sessions, and task completion sessions. During all sessions, participants are encouraged to raise questions or scenarios to address their own specific facility issues and needs.

To assist the participant, each will receive a workbook that will allow the participant to follow the presentations and address their own observations, questions, concerns and proposed solutions. During task completion sessions, Mr. Frew will work directly with participants to select or draft appropriate policy elements for their own facility.

Presentation of policies will be broken down into policy elements that allow more than 75 specific compliance issues to be addressed with completely new policies or modifications to existing policies.

To make it easier to implement policy and procedure changes or clarifications from program materials, each participant will receive a complete copy of the sample policy and procedures elements in Microsoft WORD format. Quality improvement document samples will be provided in EXCEL format. All files will be furnished on CD.
