Veteran’s Day Recognition

Today we call it Veteran’s Day to honor all that have served, but for both my grandfathers it was Armistice Day.  As young men, they did not know each other but were both in trenches in Europe on November 11, 1918, when WWI ended.  It was supposed to be the War to End All War, but since 1918 almost every US family has had a member serve in the military.  Many fought, were injured, and maybe even died for our Flag and our Constitution.  We set aside November 11 to honor all that served and their families who sacrificed so much.  The following video rendition is offered in gratitude and remembrance.

  1. My favorite song, ever! Superb rendition. I have copies of this song on my laptop, but not this particular one. Thanks for sending it.

    God bless the USA!
